To subscribe to a list:

Go to ALA's discussion list management page at http://lists.ala.org. Enter your e-mail and password in the upper left hand corner of the page.  (First time users will need to set up a login/password.  Click on "First login" and follow the prompts). Enter the list name in the yellow search box.  Click on desired list name, then "Subscribe."

Archives and other list options

For information on list archives or how to manage your list options (receive messages in digest, etc...), sign in to http://lists.ala.org, click on the list name in the left hand column under the "Your lists" heading, then click "Subscriber options."

To "Unsubscribe"

To unsubscribe from a list, sign in at http://lists.ala.org.  Click on the list name in the left name column under the "Your lists" heading, then click "Unsubscribe."
