Sports figures include tennis ace Serena Williams, baseball star Mike Mussina, basketball champ Shaquille O'Neal, celebrated runner Marion Jones, NASCAR star Matt Kenseth, and skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. Musicians include Missy Elliot, Britney Spears, Yo-Yo Ma, Enrigue Igelsias, Coolio, Renée Fleming, Trace Adkins, and Weird Al Yankovic. Other celebrities featured are Microsoft founder and library benefactor Bill Gates reading "The Old Man and the Sea" and world-renowned academic Stephen Hawking with his book selection "Marilyn Monroe."
Celebrities donate their time and use of their photograph. They select their own book. The posters are sold on a non-profit basis primarily to libraries and schools.
