New Web Technology at ALA
ALA is continuously expanding our technology offerings via this Web site and other means. Check this page often for updates on the most recent offerings as well as upcoming technology releases. Three projects are currently (June 2008) underway to enhance ALA's web presence. We have recently replaced our content management system (CMS) with Serena Collage. All unit content has been successfully migrated to the new system. We are also extensively revising the look and feel, as well as the information architecture, of the site following an 18-month usability assessment and redesign process. Finally, we are also working to replace our online communities application with ALAConnect, a more robust social network-type application.
