Research & Statistics Assembly
Purpose:
To provide a forum for the exchange of information about library research and statistical activities throughout the association and with other library groups and associations sharing an interest in those topics; to enhance the effectiveness of research and statistical activities throughout the association; and to strengthen ALA's efforts to promote quality work in the areas of research and statistics.
The membership of the Assembly will include: the chairs of each division and section committee on research and/or statistics; the chairs of other ALA committees who request membership (e.g., RUSA, MOUSS Evaluation Committee); and the chairs of the Library Research Round Table (LRRT) and Library History Round Table (LHRT).
