Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunrise Breakfast Celebrations

MLK Sunrise Breakfast Celebrations at the American Library Association's Midwinter Meetings are sponsored by ALA's Office for Literacy and Outreach Services, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Task Force of the ALA Social Responsibilities Round Table, the Black Caucus of the ALA, and World Book.

Dr. King Newspaper Online Resource

A free newspaper archive of 50,000 pages about Dr. King was released on January 15, 2006. The website is a free service of NewspaperARCHIVE.com and contains original stories about the Montgomery bus boycott, the “I Have A Dream” speech, details about King's assassination on April 4, 1968, along with thousands of other headlines detailing King’s life and work.
