Technology and library users: LITA experts identify trends to watch
The Top Technology Trends committee hosts discussions from a panel of LITA technology "experts" at each ALA Midwinter and Annual meeting. The "Trends" covered in the discussions generally cover anything technology related that our panel thinks may have an impact on libraries. Trends range from new technologies being used in libraries or the marketplace, to social trends in technology use, to new uses and applications for existing technologies, and more. Top Tech Trends is composed of a group of speakers (our technology "Experts"), who participate in the discussions, and a separate group of committee members. Committee members help set up and manage the discussions, and also write up bibliographies for this website on the trends discussed at each meeting.
