Onsite Registration and Materials Pickup
Advance Registration is now closed. Registrations are still being accepted at the onsite rate through our online form only. Advance registration is now closed for all pre-institutes and special events requiring additional registration. Please contact the sponsoring unit for availability and instructions for onsite registration at 1-800-545-2433.
If you received your badge in the mail:
Pick up your meeting guide book and other meeting materials at Badge Holder Pickup at the Convention Center, Level 2, International Meeting Place.
If you need to make changes to your badge, please visit the Changes/Corrections counter at the Convention Center, Level 4, South Lobby.
A Photo I.D. is now required to pick up your materials onsite. Please have a photo I.D. with you, or you will not be issues a guide or badge holder. Please help us make this conference safe for everyone.
If you registered in advance, but did not recieve your badge in the mail:
Pick up your badge, meeting guide and other meeting materials at the Will Call counter at the Convention Center, Level 4, South Lobby.
If you did not register in advance and wish to register onsite:
You can register and pay onsite at the Onsite Registration counter at the Convention Center, Level 4, South Lobby. Be sure to bring a picture I.D.
Registration Counter Hours:
Friday: 8:00 am - 7:30 pm
Saturday - Sunday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Monday: 7:30 am - 2:00 pm

Registration Information
Payment
Include full payment with your registration. Registrations without valid form of payment cannot be processed. Make checks payable to the American Library Association or charge your VISA, MasterCard
or American Express. Fees in U.S. dollars. If sending a wire transfer payment, it is necessary to reference your name, company and registration category on the transfer.
Non-Members: Join ALA and Save on Meeting Registration!

Exhibit
Only and Exhibits Plus Registration
Visit
the exhibits only, for $25. An Exhibits Only badge is good for all
4 days of the exhibits (Friday evening, Saturday-Monday) only.
The Exhibits Plus badge is good for all 4 days of the exhibits, plus the new Midwinter "Sunrise Speaker Series," which will feature a different speaker Saturday-Monday mornings.
Exhibit
Only and Plus badges will be available on site. No refunds for Exhibits Only or Plus

Confirmations
The ALA Registration office will e-mail or mail a
registration confirmation to all registered attendees. If you do
not receive a written confirmation within three weeks, please call
ALA’s Customer Service Center at 800-545-2433 to verify your registration
status.
Badges
If
registration is received by December 8, 2006, your badge will be
mailed to you no later than two weeks before the conference. If
you registered online after December 8or your registration was faxed
or postmarked after December 8, you will need to pick up your badge
at the Will Call/Corrections Counter at Registration in the Washington
State Convention & Trade Center. Badges will not be sent to
countries other than the U.S. and Canada. Residents of other nations
may pick up badges at the Will Call/Corrections Counter in the Washington
State Convention & Trade Center.
Refunds and Cancellations
Substitutions
are welcome at any time. Otherwise, registration cancellations must
be made in writing and postmarked or faxed by December 8, 2006.Cancellations
will result in a full refund less a $25 processing fee. No phone
cancellations will be accepted. No refunds for cancellations postmarked
after December 8, 2006. No ”Exhibits Only” refunds. Refunds will
be processed after the Midwinter Meeting.
Children’s Policy
Strollers
are permitted on the exhibit floor, but only if there is a child
in them at all times. Unescorted children are not permitted on the
exhibit floor. Children under the age of five must be restrained
at all times (stroller, back pack, etc.). Any child over the age
of five must have an exhibits only badge to be admitted to the exhibit
floor. These badges are available at onsite registration for $25.
An adult must accompany all children under the age of 16.
Meal Policy
Meals are not included with regular Meeting registration. Some institutes, workshops and banquets include meals as part of an additional ticket price. This information is included with the description of the event.
