Boston is primiarily a walking city - the streets are narrow and difficult for large buses to navigate. The majority of ALA hotels are quite close to the Convention Center.
To reduce traffic, ALA will not be running regular buses to the hotels near the Convention Center. If you need a bus, please call 888-825-7712 to request a pick-up.
Hotels NOT receiving regular bus service are: Westin Copley Plaza, Sheraton Boston, Marriott Copley Square, Colonnade Hotel, Copley Square Hotel, Fairmont Copley Plaza, Hilton Back Bay, Lenox Hotel and Midtown Hotel.
Walking directions to the Convention Center are provided below for hotels not receiving regularly scheduled buses.
Westin Copley Plaza: Walk out the main lobby entrance and turn right toward the Copley Place Mall. Go through covered walkway that leads to the Mall. Once in the mall follow through to covered walkway that leads from the Copley Place Mall to the Prudential Mall. Once in Prudential Mall walk straight to the Center Court Section. Proceed to the corridor diagonally to the right marked "To Sheraton." Hynes Convention Center is on the right hand side just before the Sheraton Boston Hotel, directly across from Au Bon Pain.
Sheraton Boston: Proceed to the 2nd floor of the hotel north tower. Follow the main corridor that leads to the Prudential Mall. Once in the Mall, the Hynes Convention Center is immediately on your left, directly across from Au Bon Pain.
Marriott Copley Square: Proceed to the 2nd floor of the hotel. Make a left at the Starbucks kiosk and follow through to covered walkway that leads from the Copley Place Mall to the Prudential Mall. Once in Prudential Mall walk straight to the Center Court Section. Proceed to the corridor diagonally to the right marked "To Sheraton." Hynes Convention Center is on the right hand side just before the Sheraton Boston Hotel, directly across from Au Bon Pain
Colonnade Hotel: Go out the main entrance of the hotel and make a left on Huntington Avenue. Cross Huntington at the first intersection (Belvidere Street). Enter the Prudential Mall Entrance at the Northwest corner of the intersection. Go up escalator to the main mall level. Continue straight the Center Court Section of the mall. Once here make a left just past the Visitor Information desk and continue down corridor going towards the Sheraton Hotel. Hynes Convention Center is on the right hand side just before the Sheraton Boston Hotel, directly across from Au Bon Pain.
Copley Square Hotel: Walk out the Hotel Entrance on Exeter Street. Make a right and walk one block to Boylston Street. Make a left on Boylston Street and follow Boylston Street 2 blocks. The Hynes Convention Center will be on the left hand side of the street.
Fairmont Copley Plaza: Go out the main hotel entrance. Go left out the doors and cross Dartmouth Street and enter the Westin Hotel directly across the street. Go up the escalator then continue straight toward the Copley Place Mall. Go through covered walkway that leads to the Mall. Once in the mall follow through to covered walkway that leads from the Copley Place Mall to the Prudential Mall. Once in Prudential Mall walk straight to the Center Court Section. Proceed to the corridor diagonally to the right marked "To Sheraton." Hynes Convention Center is on the right hand side just before the Sheraton Boston Hotel, directly across from Au Bon Pain.
Hilton Back Bay: Walk out main entrance. Cross the Street and walk into the main entrance of the Sheraton. Go up the escalator to the 2nd floor of the hotel north tower. Follow the main corridor that leads to the Prudential Mall. Once in the Mall, the Hynes Convention Center is immediately on your left, directly across from Au Bon Pain.
Lenox Hotel: Walk out the Boylston Street Entrance of the hotel and go left. Follow Boylston Street 2 blocks and the Hynes Convention Center will be on the left hand side of the street.
Midtown Hotel: When leaving the hotel, make a right on Huntington Ave. Walk to the Belvidere Street intersection.
