Volunteers Appreciated

Thank you for considering volunteering your time and talent to an ASCLA or ASCLA Section committee. Volunteer service is the lifeblood of our organization. You will benefit from your service to ASCLA in ways you may not even imagine! Whether you have a specific committee in mind or just want to cast your fate to the wind, fill out the appropriate form from the choices provided by the interactive form. Your data is accessed by the appointing officer via the membership database. Appointments are made in the spring for terms that begin after Annual Conference.

For 2007, ALA now has an online system for volunteering, tied to membership databases to ensure up-to-date lists of committees.

If you have problems with the above form, listed below are the old committee volunteer forms and the forms for accepting appointment to a committee. These latter forms serve a different function than the volunteer forms, so please do not use them unless you have been directed to by the appointing officer (e.g., the division vice-president or section vice-chair).
