ALTA/GALE OUTSTANDING TRUSTEE CONFERENCE GRANT APPLICATION FORM

a division of The American Library Association (ALA) and Gale Research, Incorporated.
The ALTA/Gale Outstanding Trustee Conference Grant enables public library trustees to attend the ALA Annual Conference. A grant of $750 each is awarded annually to two public library trustees who have demonstrated qualitative interests and efforts in supportive service of the local public library. The Conference Grant, made possible by an annual gift from Gale Research, Incorporated, is administered by the Association for Library Trustees and Advocates, a division of the American Library Association. A formal presentation to winners is made at the ALA Annual Conference. Applications are due by December 1 of the year before the Annual Conference year, and the winners will be notified by late March of the Annual Conference year.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:
° Current personal member of ALA and ALTA as of November 1
° Current service as a member of a local public library board
° No previous attendance at an ALA Annual Conference
