Nominations and Elections

The election of officers for ALCTS occurs in March and April of every year. In any given year, ALCTS members will elect as many as twenty officers for Division, Section, and CRG positions.

The President-elect and Chairs-elect of the Sections and CRG appoint nominating committees to produce a slate of candidates for these offices. These committees work from the Annual Conference prior to the election to the next Midwinter when the slates of candidates are presented to the ALCTS Board of Directors for approval.

The following information outlines the policies and procedures for the nomination and election process.
