AASL 12th National Conference & Exhibition

We want to thank everyone who contributed to this great event:

 The AASL National Conference Planning Committee, co-chaired by Mary Kay Biagini and Rosina Alaimo, who planned and arranged every detail of the event;

 The session presenters, whose dedication and hard work was the soul of the conference;

 The sponsoring companies for their generosity and committment to school libraries - without their financial support many of the conference events would not be possible;

 The Pittsburgh convention center staff, A/V techs, registration personnel, Champion staff, bookstore team, hotel staff, and all of the many people who have made the event a success;

 The attendees, whose energy and enthusiasm fueled the sessions and special events, and whose patience and flexibility made it pleasant for everyone;

 And all of our special guests, authors and speakers for their time and generosity.

If you're anything like the AASL staff and you miss Pittsburgh already, or if you couldn't attend the conference but you'd like to see what it was like, here are some ways to get a glimpse:

• Conference Handouts - available to all conference attendees until mid-December.
• AASL Advocate - the daily conference newspaper - we have all of the issues available for download in PDF.
• The AASL National Conference Blog - for interesting reports and discussions from attendees, this is the place to go!
• AASL closes Pittsburgh conference on high note - a wrap-up press release summarizing key topics and events.
• The AASL National Conference web site will still exist for some time as it was prior to conference, for historical purposes. You can still browse the programming content, author events, etc. You can use the left-hand navigation to access the site.
• Photos from Pittsburgh will be coming soon - check back.
